Editorial Standards and Ethics Policy
courseguidance.in/ is committed to the highest standards of editorial integrity. This page outlines the principles that guide all content published on our platform.
1. Independence
Editorial decisions are made independently of commercial relationships. No EdTech company, advertiser, or partner can influence our reviews, rankings, or research findings. Our editorial team operates separately from our business development team.
2. Accuracy
All facts, figures, and claims are verified against primary sources before publication. Prices are verified directly from platform websites. Salary data is sourced from recognized aggregators (AmbitionBox, Glassdoor). Market data is sourced from reputable research firms (IBEF, IMARC, NASSCOM). When we cannot verify a claim, we note it as “unverified” or “platform-reported.”
3. Transparency
We disclose: all affiliate relationships, our revenue model, our methodology, our data sources, and any potential conflicts of interest. Every page with affiliate links includes a disclosure. Our About page explains how we make money. Our Methodology page explains how we evaluate courses.
4. Fairness
Every platform and course is evaluated using the same standardized criteria. We give platforms the opportunity to respond to our reviews and publish their responses. We present pros and cons for every course, not just positives.
5. User First
Our primary obligation is to Indian learners, not to EdTech platforms. When our affiliate revenue interests conflict with what’s best for the learner, the learner wins. This is why we recommend free courses first even though they generate zero revenue for us.
6. Corrections Policy
When we publish incorrect information, we correct it promptly and transparently. Corrections are noted at the top of the affected article with the date and nature of the change. We do not silently edit published content.
7. Content Authorship
All content on courseguidance.in/ is created by our editorial team with expertise in Indian education, career development, and EdTech markets. Research articles are based on original data collection and analysis. We use AI tools to assist with research and drafting, but all content is reviewed, fact-checked, and finalized by human editors.
8. Review Integrity
We do not accept payment for reviews. We do not modify reviews based on platform requests. We do not remove negative reviews at a platform’s request. Platforms may submit factual corrections with evidence, which we will verify and incorporate if valid.
9. Data Privacy
We do not sell user data to EdTech companies or any third party. We do not share user browsing data with platforms we review. See our Privacy Policy for complete details.
10. Legal and Regulatory Compliance
All content complies with Indian advertising standards, consumer protection laws, and information technology regulations. Affiliate relationships are disclosed in compliance with FTC and Indian advertising guidelines.
